1. General Policies:

Hijabnow.com is a family company that strives to provide for Muslim sisters good quality clothing at a reasonable price. We started the company with the hope to be able of moving to a Muslim country in future inshallah. At he same time, we also aim to provide a service for Muslims living in small towns and remote regions particularly in northern Europe, where it is difficult to find good quality clothing at reasonable prices.

We will strive to comply with Islam's commercial law as well as with the standards, regulations and laws of the UK and the EU.

Please note that our webshop will always be closed at Jumu'a times around the year (Fridays, 13:00-14:00 GMT) in accordance with the religion of Allah, inshallah. Please refer to the following table if you are based in another time zone:

Just like most people, we have annual holidays (about one month per year) and we may also take occasional vacations of one or a few days such as during the two Eids. Information about vacations and holidays will always be displayed on our homepage, inshallah. All orders put during vacations will be dealt with as soon as possible.

2. Product descriptions and sizes:

We do not use living models or pictures from manufacturers who use human models.

Our pictures are taken against a white background and we avoid showing distracting objects such as garden backgrounds, flowers, furniture etc. to avoid distracting the attention of the customer or over beautifying the product.

Our products descriptions are facts-based and we avoid exaggerating their qualities or using glamorous descriptions.

We select pictures that likens as much as possible the actual product. Please note that colors may differ slightly from a monitor to another; however this difference is negligible. Also note that our products always look better than the pictures on our website.

We sell clothes from a several manufacturers which means there are different size standards. Please always check the sizes chart included in the product description.

We have compiled a size chart to help you measure standard features of our products (lengths, widths etc.).

3. Payment Methods:

For security reasons, we only ship to the address where the Credit/Debit Cards are registered in accordance with UK laws. For the same reasons, we may ask for additional verification of identity of Credit/Debit Card owner or Paypal/Payson accounts in case we suspect fraud. We hope that you understand that these measure are for yours and other customers security.

Please note that our prices are based on the British pound. This means that the prices of our products in other currencies with vary slightly as the exchange rates are updated.

We accept all major payment methods (see bellow):

3.1. Credit/Debit Cards and Paypal™:

You can pay with credit/debit cards without creating a Paypal account if you don't have account with them.

3.2. Credit/Debit Cards and Payson™ (Payment Interface in Swedish):

You can pay with credit/debit cards and internetbank without creating a Payson account, if you don't have an account with them. Please note that Payson only provides an interface in Swedish.

Please note that we are unable to accept cheques or postal order at the present time.

4. Handling and Packaging:

There are no handling costs except packaging. We take a symbolic packaging cost of about £0.20 (approx. 0.1USD, 3 SEK or 0.15€) to cover the cost of mailing bags, mailing boxes, etc.

The weight indicated on our product is reasonably accurate for small orders and accurate for larger orders which allows our customers to make saving on shipping cost.

We aim to ship orders with one working day from the date we received your payment.

5. Shipping:

We ship our goods via Royal Mail which is a fast, reliable and cost effective service particularly to UK and European delivery addresses. Non EU customers should be aware that some governments may impose customs on imported goods. We are not responsible for any extra cost that may incur for all non EU customers.

The maximum weight of an order is 2Kg. Please note that the shipping cost of a big order. As am example, it is far more expensive to ship an order of 4Kg than shipping two small orders of 2Kg each.

5.1 UK Orders:

5.1.1. First Class Mail:

UK orders shipped via First Class mail will typically arrive within 2-3 working days from the day we receive your payment.

5.1.2. Second Class Mail:

UK orders shipped via Second Class mail will typically arrive within 2-15 working days from the day we receive your payment.

5.2. Other European Orders:

Royal Mail aims to deliver packets to Europe within 3-5 working days. We thus, recommend to pay using Credit/Debit cards which allows you to receive your goods faster.

5.3. Other International Orders:

Delivery times to non European countries takes about 5-7 working days from the day we receive your payment. To receive your order as fast as possible, we recommended to pay using Credit/Debit Cards.

6. Return Policy:

If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will refund or exchange any item purchased, if it is returned in the same condition in which it was sent within 7 working days. The date on the stamp will be used as a reference.

Please note that you must pay for all shipping costs associated with exchanging or refunding an item, except in the case of a clear manufacturing defect, where we will stand for the second shipping cost (from us to you).

Having said that, we are confident that you will like our products because we put a lot of effort in selecting very good products and with probably the most reasonable prices on webshops available.

7. Privacy and Security Policy:

We will not transfer or disclose to any third party the information necessary to process your order.

We do not keep any sensitive business information such as bank account numbers, credit/debit card.

All payments are sent through highly reliable and secured payment providers such as PayPal™ or Payson™, which makes hijabnow.com a very secure webshop.
